Cost reduction due to laser cut of the PCB
Due to cutting the full perimeter of the PCB by the use of a laser, the pre-milled channels, which are intended for cutting tabs, can be eliminated in the design of the panel. As a result of this and the narrow cutting area of the laser, material savings of more than 30% on average can be achieved.

In this way, you not only save material costs directly, but can also indirectly reduce further process costs of your PCB production.

With this tool we offer you the possibility to determine your individual cost reduction opportunities.
For this purpose, a nesting algorithm is determining an optimal panel design for both the laser and a milling machine and the differences between both variants are outlined afterwards.
To enable a comparison, we please you to upload a CAD or DXF file of your single PCB and to specify some parameters, such as the panel size.
Based on your input data, a final comparison calculation will be avaiable for you to download.
